Music

 

The Music Department is led by Mr. Tyler Perrault and is made up of Band and Orchestra classes. The mission of the Music Department is to create a fun, supportive space where students can learn, grow, and express themselves through music. We focus on building skills, trying new pieces, and helping each student find their own sound. Students explore different styles of music and learn how to work together as an ensemble, which helps them grow both as musicians and as individuals. Overall, the program is about teamwork, supporting one another, building confidence, and having fun while challenging yourself. Students in band and orchestra classes also have the opportunity to perform at the end of each semester. In addition to music classes offered during the school day, there are also several opportunities for students to participate in clubs outside of school such as Rock Band and Percussion Pack.
